Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines how refunds are handled for tuition services and, where applicable, digital resources provided by Calliope English.

1. Tuition Services (1:1 or Small Group)
  • Tuition sessions must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to be eligible for a refund or reschedule.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, are non-refundable.

  • In cases of genuine emergency, a one-off reschedule may be offered at my discretion.
     

If Calliope English needs to cancel a session, you will be offered either:

  • a full refund, or

  • the option to reschedule at a mutually convenient time.
     

2. Block Bookings
  • Block bookings are non-refundable once the block has begun.

  • Sessions within a block may be rescheduled where at least 24 hours’ notice is given, subject to availability.

  • Unused sessions within a block cannot be refunded.

  • Block bookings are valid only for the student named at the time of booking and are non-transferable.
     

3. Digital Resources (when applicable)

When digital resources (such as revision packs, guides, or downloadable materials) are made available for purchase:

  • All digital resources are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed.

  • This is in line with UK consumer law relating to digital content where access is provided immediately.
     

If you experience technical issues accessing a purchased resource, please contact me and I will make every reasonable effort to resolve the issue.
 

4. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds outside of the terms outlined above may be considered only in exceptional circumstances and at my discretion. Each case will be reviewed individually.
